Rowan Berries – Sorbus acuparia
The rowan tree (Mountain Ash) has a very long history of magic. It has been used to keep away malevolent spirits and witches. Commonly used as dowsing rods and walking sticks. When the berries are collected and cooked can be safe to eat, Rowan (berry) jelly is particularly good with game meats.
Can be used in various ways in magic –
